To be honest with you, left 4 dead 1 and 2 and borderlands 2 are the last FPSes that really wow'd me like that. (Alongside something like doom eternal. I like the borderlands series in general but 2 is the one I consider the peak when it comes to the plot and characters being enjoyable. Part 3 is the peak when it comes to the actual gameplay, but then everything else falls a little short compared to borderlands 2).

Even though I enjoyed resident evil 7 and resident evil village enough, I still always had that feeling where "man, these games are ok but I would more than likely enjoy them a whole lot more if they were 3rd person over the shoulder games".....Remake 2/3/4 comes along and its like "yeah. I enjoyed these a whole lot more as 3d person games".

I admit I haven't played through a Halo since 3, mostly because I no longer have access to an Xbox and I'm moving more and more from PC, but I'm really curious about the series

It was still going last I checked a few months ago but I don't know. There was a package you could buy that unlocked every character. Don't know if it's still a thing but it's what I got and I didn't have any problems having fun with it.

I just moved on to other things.

TBH I understand those comments but the "quake they wanted" is Q3A. There's no reason to remake perfection. Champions was a great new entry to the series in its own right

Sadly did not like Ion Fury. I've found Build Engine tends to come with a lot of gameplay quirks I don't like, but can't really hate on it. So far Blood is the only BE game I really love

A lot want a more single player Quake too, but there's validity in all 3(4 if you count the people who want original Quake remade which is....nah).

Oh yeah that reminds me speaking of single player Quake, a Quake 2 remake is in the works. Whenever that comes out unless they fuck it up somehow it's probably gonna be my new top #1 FPS.

As much credit as bioshock, deus ex deserve. They are more hybrid shooters than strictly FPS.

I am glad someone else has played Cultic and loved it! Tbh Ion Fury did not click with me at first, and I came back and loved it. I think the slowing down for taking shots helped after playing through Cultic and realizing how much faster Ion Fury played. -___- Also I didnt realize that the bowling bomb homes in like crazy the longer you charge it up.

Came to post Titanfall 2 in general.

The campaign is really, really good.

But the multiplayer is absolutely sublime. Nothing feels better than being First to Fall and just wreaking havoc before the others catch up with you.

The last great multiplayer FPS to me. So fucking good. Just basically ruined everything else.

Yeah Ion Fury is on PS5 but if you want something new more arcade style top down shooter, then Synthetik Ultimate is one of the best shooters I have ever played. It's one of the few games I've put in over 120 hours.
