There's a company I would like to work for that's hiring my position, in Arizona.
I'd like to work for them and move there, my SO is worried about abortion/women's health on the political side. She's already given a blacklist to certain states to work/move in.

I'm just curious of y'alls opinion on the situation, and where it's likely to go.

Arizona will run out of water within the next ten years so women's rights are unlikely to be an issue after that

I would be really surprised if I lived in the same place for over 10 years.

Even if Az passed some anti abortion laws, you can just go to California (or wherever else it is legal around there), if you needed one. It would not be a huge consideration I would have if I were moving somewhere

It's her metric for if womans health is leaning positively or not. Plus one of the states, Ohio, has gone after a person for what they did on another state.
At the end of the day though, it's not my business or my responsibility to tell her what she is, or isn't, comfortable with. She says she's not ok, and that's that.

If it's a metric you care about then it is not exactly a pro abortion state. It's in a bit of legal limbo at the moment: illegal per books after 15 weeks, but the governor does not want to enforce the rules.

Yeah, I'm currently waiting to see how things shake out post-election, which I have a feeling will help clear a bunch of stuff up.

I live here and I would not move here if I had a choice at this point. Maybe next election cycle?
