I can understand the confusion there, I didn't articulate it well. Having a place to apply doesn't make it easy, only easy to begin. Someone still has to make the time to do it. And if they're working two jobs, then make one of them the paid apprenticeship. The hiring person will see the effort that person is putting forth (grit) and will want them on their team because they see that person refuses to give up.

But you're right. The overall process is not easy; I'd expect an interview process that is very challenging. Why would anyone take on an apprentice without fully making sure they're capable and bought in? We saw how that played out for Obi-Wan and Anakin (ok, bad reference there). The process doesn't need to be easy. It needs to be accessible and fair. And the person seeking the opportunity has to show the skills and grit necessary to succeed in it.

It's basically DintW.

Biden was never gonna enact this plan to begin with. The overall added debt ratio would have been too high, and corporate democrats love public loan interest.

We're gonna have to work it off.

Luck plays a factor in everything... that's part of life. Accept it, or just continue to whine about it your entire life until you die. I've failed many times in my life, whether it be in love or career, but I kept on and eventually got to where I wanted to be. It took MANY years to get where I'm at, and student loan forgiveness is not needed for one to succeed. I chose to drop out of college due to the absurdity of its prices, so I chose to advance my career in the grocery business instead. So many of us make six figures just driving a truck and stocking shelves, yet our jobs are overlooked due to the lack of glamour and prestige in this field.

I am for healthcare reform. One shouldn't have their finances devastated over something medical. Student loan forgiveness? Nah, pay your debt like any other responsible person.

It's infuriating. And that's on top of all the dehumanization people have to deal with in a daily basis.

It's all in one's attitude and perspective. But I agree that having a job one would consider suffering is a terrible way to get through this life. I pity those people and hope that one day, they can find joy in what they do.

Yes. This is why people have been shouting from rooftops that college is a scam for almost 20 years now. The government knew exactly what they were doing in allowing college tuition to skyrocket. Congress even passed a law that prevents people from declaring bankruptcy on their school loans in the 00's. It's not by accident that so many people are in debt slavery.

It's over man, we may get another type of Bill or some loophole Biden can use but it will be struck down by the supreme court or congress

There was talks about making pslf 5 years instead of 10.

If thats the case then that means I only paid like 20K for med school instead of 212K

So you've been against student loan forgiveness because you'd have only paid 40k instead of 212k

lmao
