It was all over TV. They were running blocks of the show that lasted all day. Tons of merch and contests and shit.

They tried to brand the players with gimmicks like "The Devilfish" and a guy that always said "quack quack" when throwing in his chips.

So many of those guys that got popular on the show are also dead now it seems.
