than the regular workers don't they? Like i mean they are a lot less likely to give you a discount on an item. Or if you're returning something , are much more meticulous about not giving you too much back..etc... Do a lot of the regular workers at big retail places that you go to, are like, it's not my money i don't give a shit?

Managers at big retail places are cogs in the wheel same as any other worker. They have a bit more responsibility and a bit more pay but its not like they have any input to corporate policy. They would get booted on their ass and another manager to replace them the next day as soon as it suits the company

oh. what about what i posted above? do you believe that that is usually true? I kinda have noticed it at the places i go to.

That sounds backwards, actually. The manager should be more focused on retaining a customer than saving a couple bucks.

If their bonuses are tied to it, which they often are, then yes.
