i like wireless earbuds a lot more. You can't put headphones in your pocket and stuff. But, do the wireless headphones last longer? idk

I use wireless headphones and if I want some type of in-ear i use wired iems. I bought wireless earbuds (airpod pro) for my sister but didn't get to try them

Idk which lasts longer.

My oldest wireless headphone is the wh1000x I bought it in 2016. Still works but stopped using it in 2018 when I bought wh1000xm3. The wh1000xm3 still works but stopped using it a year later when I bought something else

So tbh idk how long they'd last past the 2 years mark

Headphones provide a better sound quality / cancel sound (and, on the personal level, more comfortable).

Also, slightly better for your ears.

Also I have dropped my wh1000xm3 on concrete cuz my dog headbutt me one time while carrying him and it still works lol

Also some woman stepped on them with boots too cuz I left it on the floor. Still works

Also by use i mean regularly use them. I do rarely use the wh1000xm3 whenever I walk my dog but that is it. Prob fewer than 100 hours usage from 2019 to 2023.
Total hours prob like 1.5k hours cuz I used wh1000xm3 when I was grinding out runescape throughout a year.

Earbuds always fall out of my ears.

Buds Iif Im active. Phones if Im chilling.

So short term vs long term use.

Nothing wireless. I only use wired headphones.

Earbuds, especially while in VR

Wireless earbuds or wired headphones are my preference.

I have the galaxy buds 2 which is well reviewed for the sound quality or at least the tonality, but I cannot wear IEMs for more than an hour so spending more time on them isn't really a thing.

I haven't really seen good wireless headphone options, the Sony stuff don't sound good to me(too much midbass). There's the new Audeze Maxwell, but they're kind of in a shortage at the moment.

have you tried other tips like Comply Foam or Spinfits, those help quite a bit if you can actually wear iems.

Wireless phones are great for Wfh/Sfh. Allows you to take a dump without missing any of the zoom call

Yes. But for whatever reason, they seem to not help. The only earbuds I really dont have to adjust or have issues with are the original AirPods.

For gaming? Headphones. For everything else? Earbuds

yeah, same for me, I can't really understand how people wear these things for hours on end.

Earbuds for me, and so much easier doesnt mess up my hair

I still use wired headphones, i've tried a lot of different buds and just hate them, hate the feel of them, they feel strange like I gotta constantly adjust them.

I used earbuds for a bit and it resulted in impacted earwax completely plugging my ear canal. Had to go to the doctor about it.

Now I only use headphones.

Over the ear headphones. I have both wired and wireless ANC ones.

I recently switched to some wireless earbuds. At work I'll just use wired headphones but for exercise time / relax time I like the Pixel Buds Pro.
