The commentary on Reaganomics is depressingly relevant three and a half decades later. I could see Frank and Nada as a couple. Not with Nada being played by Roddy Piper, but just the character in general. It would be easy to add, "They don't like gay people," to the list of alien invader offenses.

I watched Reservoir Dogs again the other day. That'd be interesting.

stargate, i think? just casting a man for the sha're analog would too easy these days. maybe play up the NB-ness of the goa'uld? but then you run into the queer villain trope.
