You can get a beginner level electric drum kit for not too much. Then plug your phone/iPhone into the amp and you can play along to your favorite songs or play along to recorded lessons probably. My kit also lets me adjust different stuff, so you can make it sound orchestral or like rock or anything you want. I also use headphones, so its not bothering anyone

Get yourself some practice pads.

They're not expensive, won't annoy your neighbours, and will give you a decent feel for drumming.

Get a djembe and/or bongos and go on YouTube or take lessons.

hey thanks guys some of this stuff sounds cool. they have djembes and stuff at a local store that you can rent for under ten bucks a month

I'm getting back to playing guitar after a hiatus and when I tried to practice with a metronome, it became apparent that this is an area where I have... ample room for improvement. It's also something I've wanted to get more into for a while in general
