Manager's salary would only be an extra $200 a month (because my seniority means I have high pay for a non-management employee) and would take several years to be as high as what I'm making now. I don't want the responsibility it is never worth it for what the increase in pay ends up being. I currently make 35 an hour working 6/7 days a week at 12-14hrs a day. If I was a lead truck I'd be making 37 and have a shit ton of extra responsibility that would have me working unpaid for a few hours a day. The next position up is salaried and they only way to make more money than I already do is through bonuses that requires way more work than it ends up being worth. --- All posters and events depicted in this post are entirely fictitious.
