Well, and it's 50k dudes with it's own supporting units, armor, and artillery. It's essentially the men and material equipment of a small US army corps.

Their plan is to not lose any more territory in Ukraine until they deal with Putin.
Prigozhin is pretty much a bond villain, but he's competent. He was preparing this for months. All those videos of him complaining about lacking ammo and equippment were a blatant lie. He stockpiled and is now heading to Moscow with a shitton of armor and stuff like manpads etc. And a lot of captured Western equipment from Ukrainians.

He also had a lot of videos sympathizing with soldiers and how incompetent Putin and the military are etc, calling them out every other day pretty much. This will sway a lot of people on his side.
Military men always take side of one of their own. Look at Prigozhin appearance in all of this: his speeches are convincing, he's always in full gear around the frontlines, he's sympathizing with casualties etc, meanwhile Putin and his generals are hiding in bunkers. There are already reports of some full divisions switching sides to Wagner.

Same goes for general population. Wagnerites have obviously been instructed to act as kindly as possible towards civilians and that's what people remember. Them standing in fast food line and talking about how they're going to overthrow corrupted Putin looks really good with general population. Noone is getting threatened or anything.

If this thing actually escalates and we get a conflict in Russia, it's pretty much going to be Wagner troops against Russian airforce. And guess who's going to kill more civilians if that's the case?

Putin has been digging himself a grave for a year and a half now and it's fine time for him do go lay down in it.

The bad news is that Prigozhin has more or less the same intentions in Ukraine, but is way more capable.

Alligiances as of this morning:
Putins side:
Medvedev is on Putin's side.
Kadyrov sent tik-tok troops to help Putin.
Bortnikov (FSB) - opened a criminal case against Prigozhin.
Aksenov and the leaders of the occupied territories expressed support for Putin.
Shoigu and Gerasimov, as well as top generals, supported Putin.
Prigozhins side:
The LDPR party hinted at the support of Prigozhin and called Putin a woman.
Khodorkovsky supported Prigozhin.
Neutrality:
Strelkov - condemned Prigozhin's rebellion, but did not show support for Putin.
Mishustin (Cabinet of Ministers) - maintains silence.
Patrushev (Sovbez) - maintains silence.
Naryshkin (State Duma) - maintains silence.
Lavrov (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) - maintains silence.

Wagner took over the HQ without any fighting and said "You keep attacking Ukraine as before and we will let you live. But if I hear that you will try to attack us when we walk to Moscow, I will fucking kill you and your families!".
So it is more that Wagner fight Russians that fight them and let the Russians that dont fight them keep fighting in Ukraine.

I suppose the best case scenario is Prigo being thwarted last second but him and Putin + a lot of the Putin's pro war inner circle dying in the process and a fuckload of military assets, soldiers and bridges being destroyed.

And then someone sane recongnizing Ukraine is another Afghanistan for them and the coup made it unsalvageable, pulls Russia out or a legit reformist takes over.

Wagner/Russia memes are waaaay better than the sub memes from earlier this week. Fuck Russia.
