i just now heard about this so can i get a summary of events

all i know is rich idiots went down in a unsafe sub to treat the titanic like a tourist trap

They still don't know what happened. We don't even know if they are alive. There has been taps heard but it could also be other things . It isn't proven its them

I heard that there were all sorts of regulations and stuff that were ignored. Like that sub was only rated for X meters but they went deeper or something? And the sub was controlled with a game controller?

Its hard to tell when they havent located the thing yet

the submarine has been taking tourists down there since 2018, even though in 2018 many safety experts filed complaints about the safety of the submarine

because it is not an authentic submarine, it is an amateur project piloted with an Xbox controller

They're dead. I think I read it took approximately 4 hours to reach the Titanic. They're scheduled to run out of oxygen around 7am.

It'll take even longer to reach the surface with another submarine, so probably more like 6 hours to reach the surface.

If they don't find them by 1am EST, they're dead no matter what.

I think actual submarines have claws and holds and can move stuff, so that would be my guess.
