PiOverlord 06/21/23 11:08:30 PM #1:	My favorite character is Mario, and my favorite series is 3D Mario. While we did not get a new 3D Mario, it is really cool to see some of my favorite games come back for the modern age along with some of my favorite characters get some spotlight again! The thing I've always loved about Mario platformers is that Nintendo is willing to go extremely different in artstyle and gameplay between the games (I feel that's why a lot of 90's platformers died, they were one-trick-ponies that did what they did with new levels). Admittedly, 2D Mario was complacent for a long while (although I did enjoy the NSMB games, don't get me wrong, I'm one of the few to get 9,999,999 coins in NSMB2 after all!) but this new Mario game looks to be the most unique yet! Really happy for Daisy fans since this will be her first real appearance in a main Mario game since Super Mario Run (and if you don't count that, then obviously SML2). I can't wait to see what Bowser looks like in this game as well!
