Chun Li kicked my ass almost 30 times in a row.

It was fun as hell tho. You will absolutely learn how to hadoken and shoryuken quickly before you finish in order to keep up with the BS

IIRC they confirmed the game actually does cheat.

I don't have anything to play SF6 on so I've been going through and playing old SF to fill the void and yeah, fuck that noise. Everything after is absurdly easy by comparison.

Because it was the only new game they would get for months, so they had no choice but to put up with it or play one of their older games.

Super street fighter 2 turbo has hilariously broken ai even at the lowest difficulty, don't feel bad because you literally can't fight the CPU normally you either cheese them or lose

sf2 is all about regular hits. kicks, punches. they do more damage than specials and they're quicker and more effective in nearly every situation. don't underestimate the power of the regular punch.

Not everyone was great at SF2, but I was pretty decent to where I could beat the game on SNES pretty consistently without a continue.

Here's the secret: Practice and not having a billion game options to distract you. Seriously! That was before free-to-play, cheap indies, digital downloads, etc... so you spent your $29.99- 49.99 on a SNES or Genesis game and played the fuck out of it until you mowed enough lawns or worked your weekend job enough to buy another one. Also, when you buddies came over you could chain HOYRUKEN! or cheese Yoga Fire spam to piss them off!

I'm convinced Blanka is the hardest character to fight in the game. Feels like Chun Li but twice as fast.

Blanka took 15$ worth of tries. Every character past the initial 2 feels like a goddamn boss fight.

Z-motion moves like Shoryuken are absurd to pull off. Command lists also described the input entirely differently than how it should be pressed, making it more confusing.

Skill issue.

They probably are more strict, but it feels like I've pulled off more hados and shoryuken in my 2 hours of sf2 than any other fighting game I've played.. at least consistently

Even tho I'm getting my ass kicked, the speed of the game is kinda addicting. Whole matches feel like they last barely 40 seconds win or lose

Don't struggle with Chun Li. Use her, learn how to double jump off the side of the screen & kick your opponent in the top of the head.
