To be fair, Nickelback is no worse than any K-Pop group.

The reason they get so much hatred is because they are the equivalent of putting a group of people into a factory that's supposed to generate a "Hello, fellow youth! I can relate to you and observe your trends!" product. They're more of a manufactured product than a genuine band that naturally occurred. We saw this with American boy bands, yet nobody seemed to hurl the same hatred at them.

K-Pop does this all the time. Every big K-Pop group does this.

Nickelback haters are way more annoying than Nickelback fans. I'm not really sure how many Nickelback fans there even are. They like Nickelback in peace. But that's not the case with the haters, they are VERY vocal about it.

They're good at what they do. They're not Radiohead or Pink Floyd, but they're not trying to be. They're not even trying to be Linkin Park or Blink 182, other corporate bands who have some semblance of soul. They're craftsman of a product, just trying to make a buck. They succeed in what they set out to do.

Nickelback haters have never fucked someone while the song "Animals" played in the background

I still dont get the Nickelback hate. I enjoy some of their songs to this day

Most of the hate came from the overplaying back in the early 00s when people still listened to radio

Look at this photograph. THIS is how you remind me. They are just such a generic rock band plus I heard some bad things about the lead singer just being actually abusive.

I tend to not hold their separate lives against their art since I don't obsess over celebrities or do social media unless it is just thrown in my face constantly. So the worst I can say about Nickelback is that they are just a generic sounding rock band that coulda been anyone.

i don't care much for Nickelback either but i would rather focus on artists/bands that i like instead of ones that i dislike...

I dont think theyre that bad lol the hate always seemed weird to me. Like people were hating them because that was the in thing and they wanted to feel like they were part of something.

I dont care much for the photograph song though but thats only because they used to play it at my old job EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. for a period so that very much soured me on it (same can be said for Adeles rumour has it)
