The only thing I remember about that game is the phrase "hapkido cane fighting" which turned out to be meaningless.

Loved the fuck outta the Genesis original back in the day. Not the best gameplay but a solid setting/levels/characters/stage fatalities. Parents bought me the Activator mostly for that game and boy howdy did it fucking suck to use haha.

Wished I had the Sega CD to play this.

Got the Sega CD version. Makes Mortal Kombat as a 2D series look T rated.

I remember that log stage fatality on the train stage taking like 50 seconds or so to load (sega cds really were some flimsy things. At least the second version model my family had) so when it finally happened it scared the shit out of kid me, lmao.

Isn't that the game series SEGA of Japan screwed over because it was headlined by SEGA of America, and SoJ wanted to push their own fighting series Virtua Fighter?

Okay the clown one was amazing lol. Liked the one in the city where the movie theater teller gets out a shotgun and just blasts the loser's head off too
Also I saw a MUGEN rendition of Giygas where he had two instant-kill grabs with a QTE for the victim to try to get out of them, both with scenes from this game (the pit where the victim gets grinded into bits and the microwave-looking one)
