This implies Twitter still has inherent value at this point.

I highly question that.

An attempt to recoup that revenue by selling Twitter Blue subscriptions has so far failed to take off. At the end of March, less than 1% of Twitters monthly users had signed up.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Isn't Elon the richest man in the world or one of the richest?

I can't help but feel like buying twitter had the same impact on him as buying an air conditioner has on most of us.

I mean yeah maybe but I cant help but think how much good $44 Billion could have done for people. Instead it was used to buy Twitter. Sure, your money, your decision. But it still feels absurd to me. The logic of relevance becomes tenuous here, at least to me.

it's beyond absurd.

money exists within society, and we never should have let someone accumulate so much in the first place.

we take people's houses to build highways.

we should take his twitter and turn it into a non-profit because it too is infrastructure.

Yeah none of this effects Elon Musk's quality of life whatsoever

The loss of money is worth it just so he can shit post online and force millions of people to see it. That's literally what he paid for.

I was grasping for perspective and I looked up what the Louisiana Purchase would be, adjusted. And it said about $344 million.

If my math is right thats about 0.8% of the Twitter deal.

He was the richest man in the world. Buying Twitter ended up costing him 200 billion as his stocks to a sharp decline as people lost faith in him.

He even set a world record for most money lost
