And is it noisy? I've been thinking of getting one but worried about that part from the ones I've seen on video.

No, but my mom got one for herself and one for my grandmother as well. In the times I've watched it... it doesn't seem that efficient lol. It turns whenever it's about to bump into something, so it doesn't get every spot.

But the one they have isn't that noisy. It's still a noticeable sound, but it's nowhere near as loud as a normal vacuum.

I used to work tech support for one of the major players in the game. They are vacuums so they make noise, but it won't be as loud as a regular vacuum is. If you get one with self emptying that is very loud though, just for a few seconds though.

The most important thing to remember with these is that first they are not Rosie from the Jetsons. You need to give them a little care every now and then, but it's quick.

Also you have to think about the places it might go and get stuck so you have to robot proof if your home has clutter around. They can easily get themselves high centered or wedged.

Sounds like my apartment is perfect candidate for one cause I have little furniture and no clutter. And I was definitely thinking of a self emptying one, I mean I wouldn't mind a loud noise during that moment as long as it's decent the rest of the process. By giving them care you meant the emptying thing or something else?

A little more than that. Remove the brushes and pull off any hair build up. Wipe down the sensors with a clean dry cloth every now and then. Clean the filter or change it after a while. Nothing super difficult, it just takes a few minutes here and there. Once every 2 weeks was good. If you have a lot of hair or heavy shedding pets it might be better to do it once a week.

If you have pets that have accidents you need to be super careful to avoid a Poopocolypse situation.
