How strong is Knuckles such that he can punch Sonic out of his super form? Every monster and machine in the series either dies immediately or just pushes him back, but he stays super until his rings deplete. Also I guess he can still get squished, but that kills him outright, it doesn't just revert him. Did Sanic just happen to run out of rings at the exact moment he collided with Knuckles or what? --- Hambo's alt. ... Copied to Clipboard!

You know... I never really thought about it before, but that whole sequence was kind of ridiculous. Sonic's super form makes him pretty much invulnerable. Man Sonic 3 (& Knuckles) doesn't get enough credit for its storytelling. It's what really separated it from Sonic 1 & 2. And each level ended with Sonic and Tails actually traveling to it which was a nice touch. --- http://i.imgur.com/vDci4hD.gif ... Copied to Clipboard!
