Current Events > Is it just me or do video players not "preload" anymore?

Not like the main ones, the more random video player sites that sometimes you get stuck in a buffer loop with.

Back in the old days you could just pause it, come back in like 20 minutes, and it would be fully loaded.

But nowadays it feels like if you press pause it might load a LITTLE BIT but then it just stops until you press play and hit another buffer, like it went "oh shit forgot about you yeah ill guess ill load some more"

yes it was changed years ago. I think it can manually be changed back somehow.

I make sure I'm preloaded every time
