It's the laziest politics I've ever seen.

Just call anything you don't like "woke" and your supporters rage in anger at the opposition and you don't have to make the effort to think about anything or even have any superficial knowledge of important issues.

Hell, you don't even have to fact check your opponent anymore. Whatever they say, just call them woke. Statistics? Woke. Facts? Woke. Science? Woke.

Woke woke woke woke.

Someone eats vegies? Woke.
Nutella? Woke. Probably.
Taking the bus? Woke.
A woman who doesn't look like a skinny model appears on film? Woke.

There's a topic on Hellhole asking conservatives to define what it is without sounding like a bigot, and as you'd expect, it's just full of deflections and complete non-answers from all of them.

Yep, do an Uno flip it down and reverse it on them like they did when the right were going around calling everyone NPCs, until everyone started calling THEM NPCs with how robotic all of their responses were. Coincidentally, they are currently acting like NPCs with how robotic their Woke responses are.

They couldn't give 2 shits about protecting the country, children or woman.
This is the same party that talks about grooming but supports being able to marry 14 year olds, and putting children to work.
The same party that loves to say "think of the children" but value NRA donations more than kids being gunned down in schools, or a child born to poor families.

I'll give you the appeal to religion though. Definitely big on that one and their interpretation of religion.

It's basically insecure manchildren who are upset at the revelation that not everything exists for the sake of their comfort
