i was talking about shampoos and conditioners. yeah, cheap soap sounds like it should be pretty good though

idk tbh i dont know what to believe when it comes to this stuff. lot of snake oil salesmen in beauty products

I used them until I ordered a holiday bundle from them, they didn't ship it, I asked for an update and they said "oh yeah we sent a replacement out for you", it never arrived, I asked them about it, and they said "oh well it's actually been out of stock for a month and we can't replace it"

Which means they lied about sending the replacement for the bundle because they wanted to try and pacify me while still keeping my money

Look into Oars & Alps instead

Cheap shampoos and conditioners are pretty hit or miss, but they're rarely great.

Cheap body wash though? Love that stuff. I bought some fancy frou frou crap not long ago. Barely works. I don't feel clean. It doesn't even smell that good. I switched back to the "emergency" 3-in-1 I bought from Dollar General and it's fantastic. I wouldn't put it in my hair, but everywhere else is fine.

As far as shampoos and conditioners go, price actually makes a difference

Ingredients, research, and even things like the molecule size of the ingredients will effect how good the product is, as smaller ones will get deeper into your hair. Large molecules can cause greesy buildup.

Some cheap shampoos and conditioners may seem fine for a while, but overtime they'll damage your hair

I used to have long hair, and can confirm that shampoo quality is a real thing. If you have short hair, it doesn't really matter and you can get away with dollar store shampoo.

I got a bunch of free samples of Axe shampoo one day and it actually thinned my hair out. Stay away from that.

I only purchase the largest molecules

Yeah I use head and shoulders since I get dandruff/itchy scalp. I've tried the Suave and Kroger anti-dandruff shampoos but H&S is definitely better so my last bottle I got the "smooth and silky" flavor (so far I like it)

Oh, I did, but only because I kept pestering their customer service about neither the original order nor the replacement ever being shipped out, and left bad reviews everywhere I could find. If I didn't reach out at all they would have just kept my money without a second thought, especially when they put together a "replacement order" that they knew they didn't even have in stock.

They're a very dishonest and shady company.

I can get away with cheap shit. My partner gets mad dandruff if she uses anything other than prescription shampoo

I started growing my hair during the pandemic and its about shoulder length now so I switched to nicer shampoo and swapped out conditioner with a hair mask and its made a world of difference. My hair feels great compared to washing it with cheaper shampoo and conditioner

I buy store brand. Much cheaper and works fine.
