She was in poor condition but a hospital chose to kick her out. She insisted she was not well and refused to leave. Cops got called. Cops mocked her, and didn't believe anything she said. They roughly forced her into cop vehicle. Then driver stops on way to jail to do a traffic stop. When driver comes back, victim is unconscious

Paramedics are called, and she is taken back to hospital. But she never wakes up, and later dies

Cops were declared innocent of her death and so very conveniently, it was decided the victim just randomly died naturally, and nothing the cops did had anything to do with anything

The cops and hospital needs to be sued.

That hospital should be shut down.

I remember this case. It's very tragic.

Cops aren't doctors. The doctors lied about her condition and they're way more responsible than the cops are.

Is this gonna be a Black Mirror episode where she really has nothing going on then something does happen coincidentally and then the history books say nothing went on and then everyone forgets and it happens again but to everyone that involved?

ive read this like 5 times and i still cant follow it.

I watched the bodycam and cop car footage a while ago and it was despicable the way the police treated that woman. Shoving her into the back of the vehicle saying she was going to die and they did nothing.

Hard to say the cops did nothing wrong, but it's likely systemic issues. You really should not be able to arrest someone for seeking legal medical treatment.

The Hospital is way more liable for this though.

iirc, she was at the hospital for constipation and was treated/cleared the day prior. Then she returned the next day about her ankle and breathing, where she was refused as they assumed she was trying to make up stuff to get treatment to an issue that didn't exist. I forget the term, but an ailment shopper or something.

So the police arrived and were told to remove her, and assumed she was faking it all along.

Pretty messed up

Cops are also "first responders" they should trust a patient if they're saying need medical help, if they need medical help bring them to a hospital, does not matter what the "doctors say"

I'm surprised Mayor Jacobs didn't give all those officers medals.

Almost exactly the same circumstances in which Barbara Dawson died. It's crazy that this is being allowed to happen in a so-called civilized society, but with how greedy and callous healthcare big wigs are, it's probably just going to become more and more common.
