Got a call back today about a job I applied for a while ago to be an 8th grade science teacher (but, I may have to teach math instead, because theyre low on math teachers). Its a charter school with a lot of silly rules and structures I dont like or agree with (both for the students and for the staff), but its also a job that pays more than my last one. The assistant principal was super upfront with me about this. They have a year to year retention rate of 30% for teachers, and they are super strict about following all their rules.
