$250 rent? That sounds amazing.

It could help fix homelessness and imagine if we made whole neighborhoods of tiny homes for sale a lot more affordable for single people to live and own a home. Also it wouldn't take up much space.

Theres a tiny home community in my neighborhood. One of the first, I think its been there maybe 10 years. The homes are way smaller than this, but they are free to those who qualify

Space and homes aren't the issue. They're just overbought and overpriced. Overpriced tiny homes won't really solve the issue.

Well yeah but I don't see that ever happening. But it's a fact that it's most difficult for someone to survive on their own so if they don't have friends or family to live with and split rent, it's impossible to get by unless you're working multiple jobs or you have one really good job.

That's why I think it'd be really cool if we had multiple tiny house neighborhoods in every major city (maybe four for every cardinal direction). You could put so many houses in one neighborhood and since the house is take up so little room on their own there could be like a single community center where people can lounge on couches, watch TV, play ping pong, maybe have a kitchen.
