A lot but nothing can beat full hands on experience IMO. People learn differently, I have some friends who can learn just off reading a book and demonstrate the work from it but I can't. I use a lot of the project economics I learned like rate of return, net present value, return on investment, etc. Also use a lot of the fluid dynamics, physics, geology, and chemistry I learned. Also the few computer programming classes I learned helped a TON with using Excel and a lot of other software we have, learning how to properly debug something has a lot of universal applications on all sorts of computer programs. --- Hello world! ...
