Did you get the head out too? Definitely go to the doctor and get tested. It might have had Lyme disease or something

i think so but i'm not sure. i can't tell where it was in my arm because i pulled it out without looking (it was under my sleeve and i was just pinching at it because i thought it was a regular blemish or scab or something)

unless you pulled it out pretty shortly after getting it, if you weren't really paying attention while doing it there's a decent chance you left part of it in there

Dont worry about the whole "leaving the ticks head behind" thing. At most, its mouth bits get stuck behind, but they dont pose a real risk of disease.. just normal infection stuff like any other cut or wound.

Chances are you got it all. If not, some basic antibiotic ointment and care helps, but you'd know unfairly easily if some was left behind.

You'd know if you left it behind. It's easy for their heads to detach. You'd still be able to feel it there. You probably got it all. Hope your ok. Ticks are awful. I few years ago I was going to bed and I layer down and found a tick crawling up my pillow next to my face. Scared the crap outta me. At least you didn't get bit by a Lonestar tick. Getting bit by one of those can get you a meat allergy.
