Borrowed it from my library (yes you can borrow games from my library, if they don't have what you want then you can request it from another library)....anyway, I've heard that the game can be hard.

get the equip that gives you invuln on dash

other than that it's not really a tips/advice sort of game imo

Don't take any of the items that lower your attack power.
Always go for parries.
Play aggressive.

Try out all the different weapons as you buy them. A lot are much better than they seem at first glance.
It's really easy to miss some stuff on the map, but I don't think there's anything permanently kissable
Play on whatever difficulty you want.

Just before a boss fight you should be able to choose between simple and normal.

my 100% proof. these achievement includes beating the entire game on hard mode and getting S-ranks on everything, which is beating each boss without taking damage, with the hidden time limits. i know what's up:

bad advice, that powerup sucks. Literally don't need it for the entire game.

I never felt like I was aggressive really. I'm not in the habit of switching to spread and getting in a bosses face, for example.

In the end, it's the same as any game: just don't get hit and you win.

focus, concentration, skill, and determination. If you give up, your done. Set youself a goal "I will beat this boss" and then work at it for a few hours. Then, on to the next got money in pocket, put your hands up if your name is John Rocket.

If you unfocus your eyes and stare at the middle of the screen the game becomes way easier lol

Also don't underestimate the homing weapon. It might be weak but its a constant amount of damage. A lot of the time you're facing away from the bosses trying to avoid getting hit. The homing weapon allows you to hit them at all times no matter which way you're facing.

Damage over health.
If you're doing more damage you give them less time to fight back.
You'll also move through phases faster so repeat attempts won't feel so tedious.

And TC, do buy the teleport dash. Haven't played in 5 years but it absolutely destroys some parts of the game.
I heard it got nerfed but the charge shot was originally pretty great too.

Guess I will try it again, just got frustrated.

It frustrated me more than the underwater level of the NES TMNT game.

Roundabout is the best weapon in the game. Buy it as soon as you can

I still hate the level

I've seen people on reddit finish this game and they were talking about dying over 1000 times (the game actually keeps count). It's fine.
