You're on the right track, but that's not quite right. It's true that, as the band size increases, the cup size also increases. But as far as cup sizes go, a 34 band size is considered the "true cup." So 34AA, 34A, 34B, 34C, etc are the actual sizes that are true to their letter.

So any band size above 34 would actually be a larger Cup size and below 34 would be a smaller cup size. For example (assuming she's wearing the correct size) a woman wearing a 38C is actually an E/DD.

I helped my ex find her correct bra size, so I had to do research on this stuff lol.
