I have an air compressor with a digital display on it. Pretty simply to use. I keep it in my car for when my tire pressure is low. I used it this morning thinking everything was working normally.

The car said the tire pressure was at 37 psi yesterday. When I connected the air compressor, it said the tire pressure was 25 psi. So I figured I had a nail in it. I was going to fill it back up to 45 psi to get where I needed to go and then set up an appointment to get it replaced.

I started the air compressor and things seemed normal. I started to notice it went way longer than I thought it should to go from 25 to 45 psi. Then it just died on me.

I assumed I had at least a decent amount of air pressure in the tire, so I started driving. The car then said it had 56 psi, lol. I pulled over and drained some air out. Fortunately I also had an analog tire gage that I had never even taken out of the packaging until today.

I let my neighbor use my air compressor a few days ago so maybe she did something to it accidentally that she didn't mention. I ordered another one.
