This strike isn't really about the current money anyway, it's about future money and the threat of AI. If you watched the video you would see that it is a tongue in cheek jab to say she is a writer too and that she should join them on the picket line. THRs parent company is invested in Netflix btw, which was the lone studio holdout causing the strike. They also own multiple production studios that make shows for Netflix (like Ozark). Maybe, just maybe, they are trying to turn a fanbase on the writers because they have a stake in it.
