iirc ruth's has been bought by the parent company of olive garden. which of the 2 steakhouses do you like more?

Never heard of them.

Never been to either, or any steakhouse for that matter. I would like to though, but probably something local first.

Also what is a Chris steakhouse, and why does Ruth own it?

Haven't been to either since like the early 2000s. I think I liked Ruth's Chris more.

Been to Mortons once, going back on the 12th for a friends bachelor party

easily the best food Ive ever had, and Im one of those well done steak fucks. Still melted in your mouth and the flavor was incredible.

Been to a Ruth's Chris. It was fine but there's better local steakhouses here within the same price range.

I also wondered and looked it up. Chris owned a steakhouse and Ruth bought it but kept Chris in the name.

Ive been to Ruth's Chris. It was one of the few meals I've spent over $100 (~180 after tip iirc) for two and enjoyed. The service was a little weird. They had a dude that would come by and scrape bread crumbs off your table. Seemed demeaning. I had a filet and she had a ribeye and they were both great.

Mortons is on my list of places to try. Me and wife likely planning on going for our anniversary in July (shes loves a good steak).

glad to here they are good and worth the price, also been to other laundry chain restaurants so I know they are good.
