If you can look past all the boobie cheesecake. Its actually a solid fighting game on par with Tekken and Soul Calibur and requires alot of skill to play. There's a good selection of male fighters too in case you didn't know. It's not just a waifu fap game about half-naked female ninjas and schoolgirls.

all i know about DoA is that it has destructible environments (well somewhat) and bewbs.

Dont forget the absolutely toxic DLC structure in the last few entries. I'm not paying over $100 for some costumes and one or two characters. Keep in mind they ask you to do this like 5 times.

It's a catch 22 situation for them unfortunately. It really is a good fighting game underneath all the fanservice that kept the series alive. I can actually win online against people (as Hitomi) unlike other fighting games lol.

Has the system advanced that much? I only dug into 2 way back in the DC days and it seemed a bit shallow with the really forgiving parry system. It's was fun but definitely seemed a bit more on the casual side, which is fine...

I always thought stuff like the counter-based gameplay and grapple strings worked well in the series. 3 and 4 were my first entries into the FGC but I didn't know how to learn to play fighting games at the time so I spent years afterwards never touching the genre.

I loved it but yeah the DLC was out of control, I didn't even get 6.

I play DoA 100% because it's a fun fighting game and I love fighting games. 0% is because of the eye-candy.

I'm 32 with an extremely high sex drive and have had an extremely high sex drive since puberty. >_> I watch porn too. I just don't care for porn in my video games lol. I'd never use a nude mode. I prefer characters in fighting games to look more serious. That's why I prefer MK11's female designs over MK9's. I gravitate towards cool designs instead of skimpy.

I really like DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball. Yes for the tiddies, but also for the "dating" sim, mini games, gambling, buying stuff, dopamine-infused madness that it is. Also the volleyball is exactly how you want a volleyball game to play.

Eh, it's fun but in terms of high level play the game feels really random with its "triangle" system. Great game to play with casuals with because of the lower skill floor so it's a little easier to button mash and explaining the "hold" system is much easier than all the technical stuff like in VF and Tekken. The only issue I have with DoA is that I never feel like I'm actually getting "better" at it versus other 3D fighters like Soul Calibur, Tekken, or even VF where there is a higher skill ceiling for those games where I'm always learning and discovering new things. It's honestly why you probably see more tournaments for the other 3 games I said versus DoA, because even high level games they are not that exciting in comparison.
