As a 22 years old, I know full well I am too underaged to vote, go into mosh pits or consent to someone older. Her point is valid and I don't get how anybody get mad at her for spitting facts

Voting is far from being the most dangerous thing a young person can do. We let people drive at 16, but 20 to vote? Personally, I just think you just should have a mandatory test where you learn about the parties policies before voting in your first years of adulthood

I think the tradeoff proposed is sacrificing the youngest 3 years of voters in order to drop all the goddamn dinosaurs fucking it up, not protecting young voters or whatnot.

I'm getting to where I agree. People want to act like immature kids as long as possible hiding behind that "brains don't fully develop until 25" thing, fine. Let's take away adult privileges and introduce a way to force you to learn responsibility. Doesn't have to be a military draft. We've got a lot of work to do around here.

an upper age limit for voting would never be legal.

but if you can't vote until 21 you shouldn't be able to buy a gun until 21 either

I'd prefer retail service to be mandatory myself. Maybe people would stop feeling so entitled and constantly shitting on minimum wage workers if they had the same shared experience.
