Oh, I agree completely. It's just that's not a common sentiment. I also disagree with the hater perspective on Snow that's prevalent. If Lightning is Cloud, Snow is Locke. He has a serious savior complex (and a gf in a coma) that I'd argue is much more justified. It's just that Locke's character flaw was too subtle for people to get, so Square decided to bash you over the head with it when it comes to Snow. And it's not like fighting back against a government that's ultimately going to kill all of its citizens is a bad move, it's just that he's kinda incompetent.
