Like when you type @ and then the first letter if the name, a drop down menu comes up and you can select the name. But some users don't appear on there. --- Load me into the matrix and dont pull the plug ... Copied to Clipboard!

It can be disabled (by the user). Like theres an option that allows whether or not people can @ you or something like that. Should you disable it, random people can no longer @ you, thus you wouldn't be notified whenever someone tries to mention you in a thread...
