On what settings? 100hz ultra/highest? Be prepared to shell out at least 5k

For low settings you can probably find PCs for $1000 or less that can do it.

Not sure about prebuilts but you can build one yourself for ~$1000 that will handle 1440p max settings at frames over 60.

This isn't really true anymore what with fuckin GPUs costing $700 all on their own. If you want 60fps for a budget price you need to compromise on your settings.

I have a 6600 xt and 1440p screen and it handles most games at max settigs with frames around 60. So yes.

Just looking for standard power, enough to run the monitor without it looking bad. Clear text when not gaming is almost more important than gaming performance. I will play all the big multiplatform games on console and steam PC only games on my upcoming desktop
