Scary? I found it pretty relaxing to chill there until the boss from time to time outside of the roundtable due to the friendly(for a time) npcs around. I love the creepy atmosphere in several places. Weirdly I'm not into horror games, but like horror elements in other kinds of games. Deeproot Depths was really creepy to me for some reason.
