schizophrenics are more likely to do drugs, and also have associated heart conditions. there are plenty of reasons but ultimately I don't think the reasons matter as much as the phenomenon

I met a schizophrenic person online. used to chat with him all the time for several years.

he seemed to have a tough life in his early 20s. was homeless for some time until his mom convinced him to get on benefits. blamed marijuana on his fucked up life tbh which makes sense (tons of papers about its negative affects on schizophrenics). eventually, he got his own apartment. would spend the next few years streaming oldschool runescape daily and doing a bunch of crazy things on camera. was a pretty prominent guy in the zezima clan chat.

So fast forward a few years and his brother invited him to stay at his place over in northern cali. So he lived in his brother's house for like a year. started working at walmart and bought his own car. seemed like he was getting better tbh. eventually, he did something bad to his nephew (his brother's son who is like 10 years old) that got him kicked out of his brother's house. he mentioned that he saw something growing out of his nephew's arm so i guess he tried to fix it?? it was really creepy to me and he would not give me a complete answer. i did look up the news of the town he was living in just to make sure he wasn't a wanted person lol.

so he lived in his car for several weeks in some forest. i remember him telling me about hearing weird noises at night. very creepy stuff imo. anyways he was still working during this time so managed to survive by taking showers at a gym and buying groceries. eventually, he met a woman that let him live with her (probably a coworker?) . i guess they were dating but it seemed like he was not attracted to her at all. she didn't look appealing to me either but whatever. the last thing he told about was his not wanting to have sex with his girlfriend (she was pushing him for that type of stuff).

i wonder what he is doing now haven't spoken to him in about 2 years.
