Since OoT and twilight princess I always assumed Ganondorf was his normal form and Ganon is basically a transformation he's capable of due to the triforce of power

I kinda want to see a Zelda game someday that switches up which of them has which piece of the Triforce.

I still want a Zelda game where you can play as Link, Zelda, or Ganondorf, and all three get different power sets from dungeons to clear their storyline.

Link gets his tools and weapons as usual.
Zelda gets spells.
Ganondorf gets new transformations.

I don't think I ever heard anyone call the Wind Waker Ganon fight challenging until now. It is perhaps my favorite Ganon fight in the entire series because of how well done it is thematically, but he is a pushover in it. Which makes sense, since he is just a man with no supernatural powers after the Triforce dissipated right before the fight.
