It definitely felt basic for a FF game but it was fun and had some unique quirks that I really liked. The enemy sprite fatigue thing (enemies looking more physically fucked up as the took more damage) was fun and the weapons that you could use out of battle made it feel a little bit LoZ-like. They're both from some of the least popular games in the series, Minwu has the advantage of being one of the more liked characters from 2, but Snow has the advantage of being a more well-known character in general (for better or worse).
