Looks like this will be the premiere for the new Indiana Jones movie, as well as the newest films from Martin Scorsese and Wes Anderson. Haha Sam Levinson too. Plus some other regulars like Aki Kaurismaki, Hirokazu Kore-eda, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Ken Loach, Wim Wenders, Catherine Breillat. New Todd Haynes and Jonathan Glazer is neat. Victor Erice's return to movies.

Anyway I haven't heard of the vast majority of these or even some of the filmmakers. Hopefully something fun comes out of it =)

I don't know what any of those are except Indiana Jones. I'm assuming most of those are lesser known, non Hollywood films. Are any of those supposed to be good?

well they got accepted into the most prestigious film festival on the planet so presumably they aren't dog shit, although sometimes a dog shit movie will slip through since it was made by a notable director.

anyway films like shoplifters, drive my car, EO, triangle of sadness, parasite, portrait of a lady on fire, decision to leave, once upon a time in hollywood, burning, blackkklansman, are probably some of the more popular movies to premiere in the past 5 years there. and yes mostly not hollywood movies obv.
