I do not get this crazy resistance to game prices going up a little after nearly two decades of $60. Did you expect the price of video games to just always be $60 forever and ever?

I don't really care if paying more means getting better products.

But when a $70 game is still going to be hamstrung by microtransactions out the butt and barely bugtested like $60 games are then that's a bad value.

But further than that $70 for a Switch game is pretty obscene. $70 games on other platforms at least comes with the assurance you're getting next-generation performance. Meanwhile the Switch is still pushing Xbox 360 performance like it's 2008. It has good games in spite of that but I hate the idea of paying PS5 prices for a game that barely pulls ahead of what you might get on the Wii U.

Yeah, honestly, we were extremely lucky that game prices held out at $60 new for as long as they did.
