Many other dogs outrank them, both in strength, and in propensity in violence. Pitbulls are just the most popularized breed, and the propensity of black people and people of ill repute to own them, just make it an easy breed to hate

I was tempted to go that route but I been on CE enough that the race angle plays a role because a lot of these people see themselves as above the breed and their owners. It a classism/ supremacy thing. Had it been something like a German shepherd or a golden retriever topping the charts (which they had in the past), the talk would be of the owners.

Pitbulls being a problem is hypothetical and imaginary, because the issue is not in the breed, but an issue of overrepresentation, and being favored as a fighting breed. Black people owning the dogs pretty often just make the hate even more transparent.

First of all where the fuck are you even getting that black people own this dog most of the time? The vast majority of stories about fatal attacks seem to feature white people.

This is what I was thinking. Despite the whole hating on pitbulls gimmick or agenda TC has, these all happened. There's obviously issues with so many people owning them. Almost any animal can potentially snap, but these and other large dogs can overpower people and can disfigure, cripple, or kill them. If people could own tigers and there was story after story after story of people being mauled and killed by them, I'd have issues with tigers too.

Its not the breed, it's the owner. If its not the owner then the victim shouldn't have triggered it. You can't even identify a pit bull. If it was really a pit bull then it was abused. If it wasn't abused then so and so breed is more aggressive.
