ye, i mean like a lot of your physical skills greatly diminishing ...etc....

I'm not gonna have the chance to get old.

It's very unlikely that I'm gonna make it through my 40s.

I know I'll fall apart someday, just a matter of time. I think I've come to terms with that being a fact of life. Of course once it starts happening it will be a hell of a lot more real. I wouldn't say I fear it right now, though.

Given my family history and poor diet it's unlikely I'll live to old age. So to be honest I haven't really thought about it much.

by the time you hit 40 you have some grey hair. At the same time you get a few grey hairs, coincidentally, your endurance is no longer the same. You may keep your strength, or even increase it (old man strength) but your body is now more frail too: you get injured for things you didnt at 25, and your healing and recovery are slower now too.

the problem? People know. Younger males know: The semi-drunken trump supporter at the bar who doesnt like your darker skin tone, the younger dude at the club that fancies your girl, the random guy who just feels like venting out on someone does. They see that grey hair or two and it tells them you can beat him. You can make him bleed. You are more powerful.

women too. The women who are annoyed about the fact that men hold all the power, the athletic ones on their 20s, hell bent on convincing themselves theyre not the weaker sex, they will see your grey hair and think now I can take him. Ok, maybe not now, but I will turn 26 when he is 47, and then its clobbering time. Whos stronger now, mansplainer?

we need to savor our 20s and mid 30s while we can, for we will become prey in our 40s, grey hair and facial expression lines showing our condition, like blood in the water.

being a guy sucks

I love running and playing softball, so declining there will suck. But Im more worried about mental diminishment far more than physical decline.
