Right on man, you enjoying this job more? I bet working in a print shop with paper and ink is better than wood and sawdust all day, I kinda like the smell of factory ink.

I just finished my second week and it's been great. It's still work, but I'm glad that I'm back doing this again. The place I work for are trade printers, which means pretty much everything we do is for other printing companies. Most of the time I have no idea who the end customer is, but sometimes it's obvious like printing stuff for Canada Post.

This is my favourite thing I've printed so far. I gotta do this one colour at a time.

I disagree and the only reason I believe those sayings hold any water is because, if you start drinking with beer and move to hard liquor when you're drunk you're likely to pour yourself stronger drinks whether by accident or intentionally. But if you start with liquor, even if you're pouring stronger drinks when you switch to beer you're drinking less alchohol. Now if the alchohol content in your drinks remains fairly equal regardless of what you're drinking, yea it will be bullshit.

nice. I remember drinking those back in a college. Also colt 45 and steel reserve. Last time I wanted a 40, I couldn't find them so I asked the liquor store owner and he said he stopped selling them because no one was buying them :/. I ended up getting a 24 oz Modelo instead.

It's never been an issue for me because I've never driven, but I know people who drink and drive and it's a shitty thing to see.

It's not even that I don't wanna see them ruin their own life, it's the thought of them ruining someone else's life.

Yeah I had my fuck up even though I wasn't driving I shouldn't have let my friend. I remember when I got to the hospital I was like "Holy shit did we kill anyone?"

It was game changer enough that if I so much as sip a beer i'm done driving for the day. Just an across the board flat rule that I made and stuck with. Makes it hard to go to bars. Not that I like them, but it's rare when it happens.

Exactly. I like to drink in my own home and if around people it's people I already know and occasionally someone new comes in and we either get along or we never drink together again.

I buy asstons of alcohol at a time as well because I don't wanna have to walk to the Beer Store every day.

I've had pets before. Nothing in years though.

I've thought of getting a cat many times, but never actually do it.

Senior cats need homes too, I've adopted one that was about 12 and he was super chill and just content to have a retirement home. Usually after 7-8 years old the high energy slows down with some exceptions. My boy is 12 or 13 and he still runs and plays like a young cat.

Cats run out thirty years. Dogs should never go past 15.

Yeah it dawned on me pretty quick.... FUCK this cat is gonna be with me for at least 15-20 years. That right there is a commitment.

Once in a while I watch the Thriller video. That era of MTV where it was music mostly, and the videos were super creative, was a time I wish we had back. They did some animated stuff like Aeon Flux and The Maxx too.
