On Friday, a tornado passed through the town north of me. There were damaging winds in my town and even some downed powerlines. My mother, who is out of town this weekend, asked me to stop by her house to see if any damage had been done to her place.

There's some gutter damage and a destroyed fence. Other than that, it seems to be fine. Mercifully, my house was spared from any damage. I am sad though to have gone through April Fool's without internet service. It's the one magical day each year when lying and trolling are acceptable.

(It all honesty, there was about a twenty minute stretch on Friday where I legit thought I might be killed by a tornado.)
