We are still together, but I moved teams. His wife and I are friendly now, and she has a boyfriend on the side, we alternate weekends with him. There have been talks about meeting the kids now.

My nesting partner and I are still together, and are closer than ever. We also have a mutual girlfriend that we spend a lot of time with.

Let me tell you something about having 3 partners, it's more relationship work and you rarely get time to yourself. Might sound crazy, but I haven't had sex in like 2 months.

The only lie I'll tell in this topic is what a great time I had with your mom the other night.

Trying to focus on my new job but my mom keeps having falls at home and it makes me feel guilty for just working and trying to have some kind of upward mobility in life

Lost my job last month. It didn't last long but still kinda sucks. I'm back looking for work though rather than feeling sorry for myself so I'm in a slightly more positive mindset.

Still beating myself up over me blowing it with this dude I REALLY liked about a month and a half ago, compounded by my shitty work schedule and the impending doom of that conversation with my family (about the gay thing)

Some days are better than others, but being sick with Covid and stuck in my room with my thoughts hasnt been very good.

Trying to slow down my gambling addiction. While saving for a trip to las vegas. The goal is simple. Stay sober for 2 months and viva las vegas. 1 slip up and the trip is canned. Im 1 week into the bit. 7 more to go.

I'm easy like Sunday morning today.

I've been studying for a couple certifications a lot lately.

My new boss is nice, kind of has a basic personality though. He told me he just bought a boat and likes to go fishing, and that he enjoys playing golf. I like the new team overall though. Are there any platform people on this board, it's definitely different than app development?

Things are going just fine.

...although my increasing agnostic existentialism means I don't care much about any of it, which sucks.

Going to get some dim sum and see the Mario movie for my birthday. I think itll be a chill day.

I've been very anxious lately, and it's always over something someone ELSE has screwed up, thinking it'll somehow come back and affect me.

I need to figure out a way to chill out and not catastrophize about every single thing in life. This has become more common in recent years and I'm getting tired of it.

There are people with genuine mental health issues, ones that are recognized by the medical field.

No, you don't have "mental health" issues because you never grew up, didnt pay attention in school, live in a filthy, crowded, metropolitan hellscape, and dont know how to manage your money.

I'm more sick of stigmatization of people sharing their feelings about what is going on in their lives.

Anyone with cognition and emotion has mental health. Mental healthcare is healthcare. It's all too common to let our mental health get to a critical/dangerous state before we seek treatment.

Be a better person.

Things in my life are changing. An opportunity arose to rent a building for cheap. Mom has been looking for a place to rent to put a small business, and the place came with an apartment attached. So... I guess I'm getting an apartment. I'm paying for everything, unless the business earns enough to cover the rent in which case it'll just cover it.

Kinda nervous about moving, and for the business to do well. If it earns nothing, the rent will eat most of my paycheck from work(though, I'm only working 2 days a week so it's not a huge paycheck anyway).

Kinda stressed about mom's friend who is trying to take control, and has been stealing anything we put in the building(her apartment is next door on the opposite side from mine). She's the one who worked it out for us to get it so cheap, so we feel obligated to involve her... But she's taking everything. Even mom's mop and cleaning supplies. She's taking furniture out of my apartment that the landlord left for me to use. >_>'

Also, despite things going pretty well with the potential to be even better, I've just been deeply depressed again lately. haven't felt this bad in a long time.
