Aren't you in a small town though Duncan? That makes it harder, since you have less opportunities to meet new people. But dating sites definitely work (maybe avoid Tinder though). It's just a matter of tweaking your profile until you find a setup that works for you. Pictures especially, should show you actually out and about and doing things, not just a bunch of selfies. I matched with my now girlfriend back in October and what drew us to each other was that we had both taken a picture in the same location.
