It really depends on Sonys response to that happening. If they announced a new SOCOM game this year, I doubt it would have any effect on the sales of the console, if anything the console sales would go up. But if they don't have some sort of response to it, I think it would drop sales a bit, at least until they announce something people can flock to. ... Copied to Clipboard!

It would see a dramatic shift initially sure. There are a lot of COD gamers out there. Remember when PSN went down for a good solid few weeks and people traded in their PS4s at the drop of a dime. The thing is that even with Sony being Sony, making COD exclusive which walls off a revenue stream is not the current business climate.
