Last Epoch is pretty good. Its also pretty far from finished though. The gameplay feels smooth and the endgame systems are decent so far but it gets a bit repetitive because of the limited number of skills. I have one MP character made so far and I basically only use one attack. It one shots everything besides bosses so it feels powerful, but does get repetitive. Then the rest of my abilities are just teleport, ward, and a temp damage/attack speed increase

If you want something more involved I'd recommend a Shadow Cascade Bladedancer. When 3/5 of your skills produce shadows it feels like a fun little combo when you consume them for a ton of Shadow Cascades going off. Most bosses are big enough to get caught in most of them and regular enemies usually can't take more than two so far(I'm at the level 90 mono's rn with my Bladedancer online). It's convenient when your one damaging skill can do both mobs and single target DPS but I agree it can get pretty boring.

How is Last Epoch? Worth the 30 right now?

D4 whilst not being particularly great left an itch gameplay wise that Grim Dawn (amazing game) just isn't scratching for me at the moment. Don't know why, I love Grim Dawn.

I need to get back to that someday. I only ever played the base game on Steam but in terms of actually making characters I like the Masteries in that over any other ARPG. I was gonna get all three DLC last Steam sale but I didn't bite the bullet. Last Epoch is pretty fun but I don't recommend Early Access games ever. The campaign is I think 9 out of 12 chapters done, and one of the endgame systems(Monolith) is a lot like mapping in PoE I guess. It's where I spend most of my time in Last Epoch. Dungeons are few in number but pretty different at least. It's mostly just the Sanctum that I like though.
